My Kinda Romance Hero

Does this look like the kind of guy who
waxes rhapsodic over his love for his wife?

Well, let me tell you, when I interviewed him the other day, the things he said about his wife were some of the most eloquent, heartfelt, respectful words I've ever heard a man offer about the woman he loves.

Can you believe it? Nathan Kamp did the interview! It was terrif, and I can't wait to write the ExtraView series and give it up for you to read on Romance: B(u)y the Book.

I don't think he'd have given the interview if it weren't for your interest in knowing more about him than how many sit-ups he does daily. Molto grazie, Bellas!

Wouldja help me start spreadin the word, please?

Encore! Thank you, Brianna Yamashita of Dorchester Publishing, for making the contact with Nathan. You flippin rock, Bella!

Encore due! Thank you EVE SILVER for guestblogging for us. We're looking forward to having you back with us in November to celebrate the release of "His Dark Kiss." Great cover, btw.

Day-amn Michelle! I am happy you got it and sooooo jealous at the same time! Come on, details! Was it a phone interview or what? How did he sound? Is he still modeling for covers? You know I'm dying here girl!!!

Okay. Sorry. Went a little insane for a minute. Can't wait to read the interview. WTG Queen Bella!

How exciting. But I think once people realize the level of intelligence they're dealing with, when dealing with you--they want to cooperate.

Did that make any sense? Or is my level of intelligence such that I can't form a complete sentence?

This is from the last blog--EMD. Okay. We have to use that one.

Okay, I was pretty stoked when I saw Mr. Snaxy's pic at the top of the blog. Then, my jaw dropped when I realized you GOT THE INTERVIEW!!! You da bomb!!

I can't wait to read all the details. There is nothing sexier than a man who is completely head-over-heels in love and not afraid to show it =).

WTG girlfriend!! I know how much you wanted to interview Nathan, and I'm delighted you got the opportunity to do so! Looking forward to your waxing poetic about the snaxy one. *grin*

He sounds like a true romantic hero!

WTG, Michelle! Can't wait to hear what the Snaxy One has to say about stuff. And who cares how many sit ups he does a day? We want to get inside that brain of his and see if it's as lovely as the rest of him!

Rach said...

Absolutely, manadacoll! Nothing ruins a gorgeous guy than having him open his mouth and have nothing worthwhile come out.

(Oh, please please please let the Snaxy One have a decent brain in his head. My fantasies may otherwise be forever ruined!)

It is very cool to see the people who've been most supportive of this little project of mine all checking in. Thank you very much.

My Bellas, he does, indeed, have a more than decent brain inside his head. He was warm, engaging, and generous with his time as well as his information.

I didn't want to let on that the interview was set up until after it was done in case he decided not to do it. I didn't want to put him in the position of looking like a goofball. Me? As you know, I'm more than happy to share my successes and challenges, and somewhat obsessive romance predilections, with you.

I appreciate the compliments. I just don't want to give too much away, because I can't tell you how interesting I found this guy in a "I just got to meet a really decent human being way."

It was a phone interview. I was really relieved I remembered to turn on the tape recorder. Literally almost forgot.

I'm diggin on this "Snaxy One" monikker. Do I smell Lexicon? TSO? Or does this deserve our actually working our fingers over the keys to type his name?

OOOHHH, Baby! WTG, Michelle.

There is nothing sexier than a man in love with his wife. AAAAHHHH

I can't wait to read the interview.

Rach said...

TSO? Well, that works, except that's what the music group Trans Siberian Orchestra goes by. I will of course go with the flow on this one =). You know I roll with it =).

I'm so glad he was a wonderful man. I'm dying to read the interview!!!!!

Ummm... does he know we call him the Snaxy One? LOL!

Michelle Buonfiglio said...

You know, Eve, I never mentioned it. But I know Brianna sent along the column I wrote about the word and how we on the blog were all atwitter about him. I'm assuming he read it. It either pushed him over the edge into agreeing , or wore him down. Either way, I'm glad he said yes. I hope I can do the interview justice.

Does everyone in america love TSO, Rach? I hear about them all the time. Maybe it's cause MN is so damn close to Siberia...

Either that or he was trying to prevent a stalking incident...LOL.
I'll bet he was flattered. Even pretty boys have self doubt least the ones worth knowing do.

Yall, I've heard of the Trans Siberian Orchestra, but can't say I really know them. Though I'll bet they would do well here in Summer when we dream about importing a little Siberian snow...

Cheeky flippin wench, Manda. lol

Don't think I didn't feel like a stalker there for a while. But having been in pr, one gets used to dogged determination (read quasi-stalking til you wear people down and they do what you want them to do).

Amanda said...

Michelle, if you weren't so determined we wouldn't have anything fun to read! Thanks for being our go-to gal! Imagine the Snaxy One's Horror if all the RBTB gals had pursued the interview! Much better to let our fearless leader do the PR stuff so as not to scare off the interviewees. And it's not stalking---let's spin it and call it tenacity!

Rach said...

I'm not sure if all America loves TSO. I think they're alright. I did enjoy their Christmas album though.

So, Mr. Kamp isn't going to pursue pressing stalking charges?? That's a relief ;-).

Michelle Buonfiglio said...

Yeah. It was a relief.

The sad thing is, I really can talk about things other than handsome men. I just don't wanna right now.

Rach said...

Um, Michelle, I hate to break this to you, but I'm sure we all can talk about things other than handsome men. But, I don't know about you, but you gals are my escape from the every day mundane parts of life--even if only for minutes at a stretch. We can talk snaxy men and it's all cool. Try talking snaxy men with your husband, and I guarantee his eyes will glaze over within seconds. Or worse!

Aren't we each other's support/codependency system?? =)

Hi, I'm new here. I found your blog from my Yahoo alert. Like everyone else, I can't wait for the interview! :) I have a database of NK book covers in my website -- and the list is growing. lol. I can't wait till May 9th. Thanks for sharing the interview with us.

Michelle Buonfiglio said...

Hey, CT! Welcome. I'm so glad you stopped by and are a big NK fan. How many covers have you found? Are there any with any of the Squawk Radio writers on them? I've been looking. We've got another blogger, Stacy, who's a fan of NK covers, too. You guys should compare notes. :) I'm not good at figuring out which covers just have his body parts on them.

Hey, help me out, What's a Yahoo alert? I'm hopeless, I know. Check out blog today, too.

Believe me, I had a hard time figuring out the covers too. lol. I've found more than a hundred covers, but I know there's more out there. I've listed them here:
I've checked out the Squawk radio. Only Ms. Medeiros' upcoming book has his cover (I think it is him).

I didn't know about Yahoo alert until a friend told me about it. You sign up for it if you want to receive an email alert from Yahoo on latest news/blog updates of your favorite subject. In this case, my subject is Nathan Kamp. :)
