Right now I'm reading The Diamonds of Wellbourne Manor. I like the setting of it and though it's an anthology, I like the way the stories are interconnected.

Brenda Novak and Wendy Roberts are still visiting at B&N's Mystery book club through the end of December. Our New Year Extravaganza is also about to kick off, with SIX visiting authors: G.M. Malliet, Mary Kennedy, Spencer Quinn, Katherine Hall Page, Charles Todd and Robin Burcell. Stop by and say hit!

See you back here after the holidays!

BTW, I just read Christine Warren's BIG BAD WOLF -- zowie!!

I also read Wendy Markham's THE BEST GIFT. If I had realized it was a sequel to IF ONLY IN MY DREAMS, I would have read that one first. A very different type of romance involving time travel -- I liked it a lot. Now I have to find a copy of the first one!

I'm reading an advance copy of Truly, Madly by Heather Webber -very cute so far. Romance and mystery. Due out in February 2010.

I'm not reading a romance at the moment as I'm reading "Dexter by Design" by Jeff Lindsay. It's the fourth book in the series, of which the television series "Dexter" is based upon. Love the television series and had to try the books out. While they are different, the main character is the same. I love his dry wit.

I love reading romances, but it may be awhile before I get back to my next one. I received "Under the Dome" by Stephen King for Christmas and plan on reading that next. I'm a big fan.

I like my romance novels to have lots of love and some funny elements, too (and that's how I came to love the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands). If I can do that in my own writing, I'd consider myself a success!

Hi,
Right now i'm reading "An Affair before Christmas" by Eloise James. This is the first book i've read by her and i'm loving it. I love all of the side characters and Fletchly. I'm not loving the heroine although. There have been many times in the story i'd like nothing more than to bitch slap the girl.

Right now I am reading The Warrior by Sharon Sala. What I am loving about it is the paranormal aspect of it, the Native American hero, and the suspense behind the story!! Great book all the way around.

I am reading Lara Adrian's Breeds series. It's very close to JR Wards BDB, but I find it's not as dark and depressing. They are great stories that keep me turning pages. The next story Shades of Midnight comes out on Tuesday.

Yes for a Christmas present my company decreased my pay by 10% and took away 2 weeks paid leave, but I still have a job and if things look up in 2010 maybe I'll get some of that back.
