Allo. My Name Is Raol. Behold My Hot Wetness.

Ciao, Bellas, and happy Saturday! Raol and I want you to know that all your Dreams and Desires will be fulfilled

Monday, March 12

as Amanda Brice GuestBlogs
-- and her fellow anthology authors
visit throughout the day
--

to celebrate the release of their Freya's Bower anthology, "Dreams and Desires."

And harken up, Bellas! Every penny of net proceeds from the sale of "Dreams and Desires" goes to a battered womens' shelter.

Bella fave Lauren Baratz-Logsted says, "'Dreams and Desires' features terrific short stories...sweet to sizzling and penned by some of the leading lights in today's romance and erotic genres. Buy it to help a great cause, read it for the great stories!"

Lots of people have recurring power dreams, wonderful, happy ones in which they're flying or winning a race or having a romantic dinner with Fabio Cannavaro in a villa overlooking the Mediterranean while the rest of the Italian World Cup team serves them wearing nothing but their Dolce & Gabbanas.

What's your favorite power dream?

I rarely remember my dreams, so I can't say. But I certainly would like to try with Raol. Yowza, let me just get a towel to dry him off.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend. I just got my hair done, and it looks pretty good. I think I've gotta take me fancy new hair out for dinner tonight! LOL!

My favorite power dream is...Oscar night, I'm on the red carpet looking very sexy in a long sapphire blue gown, I'm up for best original screenplay, I came alone but after I win I dont' plan to go home alone....

It's always the same set up, but depending on my mood, I'm either hitting with Viggo or Joaquin, and lately it's been Mark Wahlberg...

Oh my good news...my anthology Alluring Tales is #1 bestselling romance anthology at B&N!!!! I'm so excited!!

YAY, VIVI!! I'm so excited for you!

MK-- I think he looks a little dirty behind the ears. You may want to give him a once over before you dry him off... :p

Michelle-- You never cease to amaze me with your attention to beauty.

I wish I had power dreams but I guess you have to sleep longer than 10 minutes at a time in order to have a *really* good one.

You always raise interesting questions Michelle. I usually wake up remembering every little detail of my dream. But I don't have power dreams to remember. Such a bad luck.

Dang! Now there's a sight of Raol I don't mind seeing again and again. That's enough to inspire all kinds of power dreams.

I've always had the one where I'm flying - I love those dreams. They are never the same but they do make me feel powerful, like I can do anything. I've always wanted super powers. Right now I could really use the one where I don't suffer from human illnesses - like colds. They suck.

Yay Vivi! I haven't read that one yet (I do have it though), however I just finished "Blood Secrets" and am clamoring for more. I have to go check out your site - I want more of that bad boy Kellen ;)

Yay Vivi! I'm so pleased for you. You'll remember us when you're selling books like Nora, right???

I'm with you Stace, I'm ALL ABOUT Kellan. Vivi, you're cookin' up somebody really good for him, right? She's gonna kick his ass all over the block, I hope.

Actually, that one about the Italian World Cup Team sounds pretty familiar. Only there's massage oil involved.

Could I use my tounge instead of a towel???

I tend to forget my dreams, usually they are too weird or just scary.

On the other hand, Blood Ties starts tomorrow night on Lifetime- Vamp serie based on Tanya Huff's books. I am looking forward to it. The reviews on iTunes have been very favorable. If Tanya has written it, I have read it.

First day back to work tomorrow. let's hope I didn't make a mistake going back.

MaryKate said...

I've never heard of Blood Ties, ev, but since you and Ames seem so high on it, I'm going to tape it and see what it's all about.

Thanks for the recommendation. And I hope everything goes well with the back to work thing!

Oh Michelle is trying to kill me first thing in the morning by looking at this gorgeous hunk. I've never had a power dreams, sadly. But maybe now that I've seen HIM, I will. (haha)
Happy Sunday, Bellas!

Marykate- I hope it lives up to my expectations. I really enjoy the books and her writing, so I am one of those who will expect it to be as good. Someone who has not read her will look at it differently. Kinda like the Harry Dresden stuff, it's not bad, but it's not the books. sigh

I want a power dream.

I very seldom have dreams that I remember, but I am sure that he would inspire some.......LOL

Have a good day everyone.

Ah, buongiorno, Bellas! Now, you may quote me on this:

2007: The Year of Vivi Anna.

Can't you just feel it crackling around cyberspace? So, so proud you hang here, Vivs. Won't be long till Lifetime TV is making a Vivi Anna series of Hell Kat. Well. Maybe HBO.

Let me tell you my power dream -- and I hope you don't think it's too weird. But in it, I have really long, like hip-length, loose strawberry-blond cork-screw curly hair. I mean it's gorgeous. And I am totally filled with happiness because of this hair. I feel so beautiful and free and can, like, totally breathe life.

I'm not sure why I have it. I lost my hair after my transplant, so maybe that has something to do with it. But I think there's something else going on that I'm not seeing. Still, I love love love when I have it.

Do you remember when Bill Gleason from Princeton GuestBlogged with us during Back to School week in September? Well, here's really cool news:

On April 16, Bill's Princeton novel class will be visiting with us so we all can trade answers/questions/comments to help his class think more critically and intelligently about the broader genre of romance fiction!

What a day it'll be, we readers, writers, and new students of romance fiction tossing around ideas -- a real opportunity to have fun while teaching some inquisitive young people what romance is really about.

Start telling your friends. We get to be the smarty-pantses in this one, Bellas!

Michelle...I love that quote!!! :-)

That is so totally cool about the class being here to learn about romance. Very totally, awesomely cool...

That's interestign about your dream Michelle...long strawberry blonde hair must represent something to you subconsciously...

I have this reaccuring school dream...I"m back in my old high school, I can't find my locker, and finally when I do I can't remember my combination, finally I figure it out, and I can't find my books, then when I do, I go to class and I'm late, like 2-3 weeks late and I've missed most of the term but I have a test to write and I didn't study...I never do write the test...

It's weird and always leaves me feeling hollow when I wake...

Vivi - I notice that you teased nothing at all about Kellan. You don't wanna tease at least a little sumpin' sumpin'????

See Michelle?? We nag more than just you.

Wow, fantastic pic. No, can't say I have power dreams but that one that vivi anna has about school is just like mine lol.

Vivi Anna said...

MK, I have plans for Kellen, that's for sure, but even I'm not really sure what's going to happen to him...he's still an enigma to me...

Stacy~ said...

Ev, how did your first day back to work go? I hope you enjoyed it.

Vivi, you are such a tease, but I like enigmas. Whose story is next? I wasn't able to tell by the Valorian Chronicle site. I need to know!

I just finished Megan Hart's "Dirty", and all I can say is "wow". I am a superficial reader, liking the HEA and the normal route it takes to get there. I don't care much for erotica, but I love me a good, hot erotic romance. I say this because "Dirty" is marketed as an erotic novel, but it was so much more than that. I was completely blown away by it. I didn't expect to like it at all, and only picked it up from some recs I'd read at reader sites which got me curious, and boy, am I glad I did. Elle is so completely likeable, even though I suspect she's not supposed to be. She doesn't feel sorry for herself, and she's upfront about what she wants and doesn't want. She pushes people away, but you can see there's so much about her to draw others to her. I can't explain it - you'll have to read it to see for yourself to see what I mean. All I know is that this story moved me in a way I didn't expect because it's not my normal thing, yet it's good to break out of your comfort zone from time to time because you truly don't know what you might be missing. It was so worth the experience, imo. I will definitely be checking out more of Hart's work.

Stacy- I survived!!! I wasn't expecting to put in a full 8 hours, but they were short handed, so the other new girl and I stayed. Spent most of it relearning the computers and registers, both of which have changed in 5 years. I work Tues from 6am to 2 pm. Part time- ha!! 32 hours this week.

someone shoot me now. please.

Ah, Raol, how I love to gaze on your . . .
sigh, what was the question? Ah, yes, dreams. I, too, never remember them unless they are seriously weird or scary or both. I once dreamed Theo from The Cosby Show and my brothers fought the Viet Nam War in my parent's back yard. As a friend of mine often says, "That's messed up!" Would love some power dreams.

Stacy~ said...

Yay, you made it Ev. It'll only get better from here on out :)

Though 32 hrs doesn't seem so p/t...

ev said...

That's what i thought to Stacy.

do you notice we are blogging together on both sites?? LOL

My recurring dream revolves around me and George Clooney on a private jet - something about the mile high club! I also used to have the same horrible dream as Vivi Anna, showing up for class and finding out there's a test that I'm totally unprepared for, or that I've somehow missed the entire semester.....

And congrats Vivi on your Nocturne success. Saw you over on The Pink Hearts society... I still get those zits on my chin too, even at 47, dammitall.
