T.G.I.F.*

There's just something about a nice, young, wet Italian guy.

Why are foreign guys so sexy?
What's your 'Ramon was so suave and beautiful,
and treated me like crap, but I still went back for a-more' story?
***
*Thank God It's Flavio (Montrucchio)
Encore! Oh, don't thank me for Flavio. Just have a happy weekend, Bellas!
Encore due! Check out Michele Hauf's response to your great suggestions on how she can get over her party-shyness at the May 17 post, "Going to the Party..."

OMG. I will not thank you because you told me not to, but OMG. I am going to be staring at those eyes all day. Flavio? I'm not a fan of his name but who needs to call him anything but Yummy!

Why are foreign guys sexy? For me, it's the accent. The way they talk is just mesmorizing.

YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM!!!!

Foreign guys are sexy because we have no idea what they are saying. ;-) Besides, the grass is always greener, right? I also think there is an element of Alpha in guys raised in foreign countries. They aren't as confined to the PC culture we have here.

Sorry, no Ramone story for me. High school sweeties and all that...

LOL. Yeah, who needs to know what they are saying? They could be reciting a menu for all I care.

Wow! Michelle, you've done it again!

Okay, here's my foreign hottie story. When I was in college I did a summer study abroad trip to London. Unfortunately, about a week into it my knee replacement (which had been done for the cancer) broke while I was crossing King's Road. I ended up spending a couple of days in the Chelsea and Wesminster hospital before I flew home. But in hospital I had not one, but TWO male nurses. One was Scottish, the other Irish!!!

I was sort of a celebrity on the ward because I was the young American with no family around so they were especially attentive. Plus the other women on the ward were 70+. So naturally the hot young male nurses gravitated toward lil' old me.

Lachlan, the Scottish one, was worried that I couldn't talk to my family because there weren't phones for the patients, so he wheeled my bed to the nurses station so I could talk to my Grandmother. And of course we flirted. A lot.

He was a dreamboat and had the lovliest Scottish accent. We exchanged letters for a while after I got back home, but there was no email back then so it just sort of played itself out.

Manda, if you had to be in hospital, that was the way to do it! (Sorry about the knee though. That sucks!)

Irish and Scottish accents are so very lovely =).

Thank you Michelle! You are a generous and beautiful woman for posting these lovely pics!

OOOO, Manda. I could live on a story like that for a good long time.

I don't have any good foreign stories. The best I have is at girl scout summer camp when I was 11 we had a counselor at the pool who was a handsome Austrailian. The poor guy was swamped every where he went. There were only 3 guys in the entire camp.

Manda, can I use your story at my next school reunion? *g*

OH, didn't I just know this would lure you in, Viv! I almost put an Encore due! in saying, welcome back, Vivi Anna...

Ooo, Scottish and Irish male nurses. Can you say "bedside manner?" I hope you're doing well now, Manda.

Good call on the alpha element, Rach. That's why it always hurt so good when the foreign guys were being jerks. Yes, there was more than one...

JulieO. The accent. Of course. I just want to hear Flavio (too close to Fabio for words) say, "Yes. I am, em, how do you say, Michaelina? Damp. Won't you towel me off, per favore? Grazie, Bella. Si. I'm glad I'm not wearing a speedo, also."

Madonna mia.

Err Julie in Ohio--I'm not looking at his eyes, well I am but I'm also pretty sure in the shower pic he is happy to see me!

Rachd, see sometimes we do like the alpha in real life. And Vivi I can't believe you don't have a story for us.

Mandacoll--Lachlan! Lachlan! OMG, what a great story. Lachlan...

I have no story--except I went out with a sailor from England, in port for "Tall Ships" back in the 70s--anyone remember that? Anyone, anyone? But he was very sweet and gave me his cool sailor shirt when he left.

And Michelle I just want to hear Flavio say, "Do you like? How about this? Here is a wall we can use. No?"

"YESYESYESYES"

Julie in Ohio said...

Amy, you are too much! ROTFLMAO

I am an "eye" girl. I love light colored eyes. I still go back to the archives to look at Raol. His eyes just grab ya. Flavio (still not liking the name) he has the eyes and smile. I can even get into the messy hair.

Julie, in all honesty I too am an "eye" girl. And a "fore arm" girl. And a "butt" girl. Wicked smile, abs, pecs, shoulders, thighs...what?

Julie in Ohio said...

LMAO!! (Which is hard here at work.)

Amy, you are just too picky! Can any guy meet your requirements? *g*

tall?...short?...wet?...dry?

Any preferences that way?

Manda said...

You guys are cracking me up! UATW with an accent, Amy! Now that's good thinking!

Julie, feel free to use my story at your reunion! I did;)

Yes, I have to say that was the best hospital visit EVER!!! It was ten years ago at this point, but I still remember the lovely accents. And the lovely blue eyes...sigh...

Julie in Ohio said...

I realize I'm being a kill joy here but does anyone else look at someone who with a name like Flavio should have an accent but then think that he is probably from California and says things like "Dude, look at that wave"?
I guess I know too many Juan Rodriguez's who have no accent.

Now back to your regularly scheduled UATW fantasy.

Nothing else to say but: YUM!!!! (Okay, I could think of many other things to say but I don't think you want them posted on this blog! LOL!)

rachd said...

Hee hee Amy! UATW and an accent. What could be better??

Julie, you are a kill joy (but, probably right =) ).

Thud! Now that's worth getting up early for. And seriously, does he really need to talk? There are better uses for that mouth, me thinks ;)

Manda, love your story about the Scottish and Irish men - oh, those accents make me melt everytime...

Amy, "Here is a wall we can use, no?" ROFLMAO - YesYesYes is soooo right!

Hey you guys glad I could be of service.

Stacy, I was just reading about Heiress For Hire--sounds great, the last time I tried to get on your blog--I couldn't. Don't know why, the window never opened all the way. Anyhoo, I'm going to try from my work computer.
